Many generations have been entertained by Ravensburger's "Scotland Yard" board game. As part of a programming lab researchers and students from the University of Bonn invented "Scotland Yard - to go!" in cooperation with the game publisher Ravensburger Spiele and Deutsche Telekom. In this modern version of the traditional board game no longer figures are moved on the table but people interact in the real world chasing Mr. X. On behalf of Deutsche Telekom we developed this further to build Mister X^® Mobile.

The players are equipped with a smartphone including a GPS receiver. The GPS device provides the current location and via cellular network, the system is connected to the Internet. This enables to locate the detectives and Mr. X (every some minutes) on a map.

Our game let's you turn the world into one big game area.

If you want to play the game, just download it here from Apple's App Store^® for the iPhone^® version. Respectively, the Android^® version can be downloaded here from the AndroidPIT portal or here from the official Android Market. Additionally, there is a community site where you can review your games and maintain your account.

As an Android user you can scan the below QR tag from screen in order to install the game directly from the Market on your device. You will need to install a barcode scanner application on your Android phone first.
